Bill Raftery

Raftery is in his 16th season as an analyst for CBS Sports' basketball coverage. He also fills that role for college basketball on ESPN and for the NBA's New Jersey Nets on SportsChannel.

A former head coach at Seton Hall University (1970-82), Raftery coached Fairleigh Dickinson for five years. He gained three NIT and four ECAC tournament berths in his collegiate coaching career, and was named Coach of the Year in 1979 by the New Jersey Basketball Writers Association.

Born April 19, 1943, Raftery lives West Orange, N.J. with his wife. They have four children.
