Beverly Knepper Update: 14-year-old missing Ga. girl found safe, report says
(CBS) ATLANTA - Authorities in Atlanta say a 14-year-old girl, who disappeared Monday after attempting to meet someone she contacted through Instagram, has been found safe Thursday, reports CBS Atlanta.
Beverly Knepper allegedly had a dispute with her parents over meeting a 14-year-old boy she contacted through Instagram, a photo and video sharing mobile app.
According to the station, she was last seen on Monday afternoon.
Beverly's mother spoke to the boy, Jahlil, who was supposed to meet her at a park the day she disappeared, but he said her wasn't able to meet her.
When Beverly failed to return home, her family notified police.
Official reports with details on her recovery have not been released by authorities.
