(CBS/AP) Beverly Hills, Calif. - Three days after a man and a woman were found dead in a suspected murder-suicide shooting at the posh Beverly Hilton hotel, the victims' identities had not been released, and investigators have provided few other details.

Coroner's officials did say earlier that the deceased are a man his late 60s and a woman in her mid-50s.

The shooting at the luxury hotel was reported Friday night ahead of Saturday's Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony.

The Beverly Hilton was also the site of Whitney Houston's death in February, when the singer drowned in the bathtub of her fourth-floor room. That was just a few hours before Houston was to attend record executive Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammy party in the ballroom downstairs.

The hotel also hosts several other annual galas, including the Golden Globe Awards.

Before the Friday shootings, Beverly Hills had just six homicides since 2008.
