Betty White to host new reality show
(CBS/AP) Betty White is at it again. The actress is starring in a new hidden-camera TV show that presents senior citizens as pranksters.
The show, "Betty White's Off Their Rockers," follows seven seniors who work together to play pranks on younger people, with the help of co-conspirator White. It will air on NBC, but a starting date hasn't been announced yet.
"People have been telling me that I'm 'off my rocker' for years - now I can prove it," White said in a statement.
The show is based on a hit Belgian program that has been replicated around Europe and South Korea.
White, 89, has a history with NBC. She's starred in the sitcom "The Golden Girls" and won an Emmy last year as host of "Saturday Night Live." She also currently stars in the TV Land series "Hot in Cleveland," which has been renewed for a third season, and has a book out titled "If You Ask Me (And Of Course You Won't)" coming out in May.
