Backstage Live: Interviews with Clay Aiken, Sherri Shepherd and Gary Vaynerchuk

It was a busy morning this past Saturday on Backstage Live- we had three dynamo personalities stop by to chat.

Clay Aiken is doing the circuit promoting his new album "Tried and True". He had promoted it on his site, which meant that a ton of fans were tuned in to our show waiting to see and talk to him live. We spoke about the album, his upcoming tour with fellow "Idol" alum Ruben Studdard, his work with UNICEF and why he's just not into the whole Twitter thing./p>

You might know Sherri Shepherd as co-host on "The View," but she's also a great comedic actress, mother and philanthropist. She stopped by "The Early Show" before taking the Yai Central Park Challenge, a 10,000-person walk for the not-for-profit agency, which sets out to create hope and opportunity for children with developmental disabilities. Besides being a spokesperson, Shepherd has also built personal ties to Yai, which has been instrumental in helping her own autistic son. I must say, we had a blast talking- Sherri is a super sweet, sincere and fun person.

Finally, we had the very energetic online wine guru Gary Vaynerchuk stop by. He is a close friend and mentor of mine. Besides building a multi-million dollar online wine business (winelibrary.com) and web series (tv.winelibrary.com), he recently made the New York Times Bestseller list with his book, "Crush! It.".

We spoke about his appearance on the MTV show "Hired" and his next book. He also offered up advice for all those out there looking to "crush it," too.
