Authorities find 3 people dead at southeast Kansas home

FREDONIA, Kan. -- Authorities are investigating after three bodies were found outside a home in southeast Kansas.

CBS affiliate KOAM-TV reports that Wilson County sheriff's deputies called to Fredonia home Monday evening found three adults dead outside.

Wilson County Sheriff Peter Figgins says they are not actively looking for any suspects at this time, but no details about how the people died have been released. The department says autopsies are being performed.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the investigation.

Fredonia is a town of about 2,400 residents located about 150 miles southwest of Kansas City.
