ATM stolen from Sec. of State's office in Mich.
DEARBORN, Mich. - Thieves drove through the front door of the Secretary of State's office in Dearborn, Mich. Sunday night and made off with an ATM machine, reports CBS Detroit.
Broken glass, a busted door-wall and twisted metal were left in the wake of the theft.
Witnesses tell police that they heard a crash and booming sound around 11:30 Sunday night and saw a red-colored van driving away shortly afterwards.
While ATMs are not typically smash and grab targets due to their weight and difficulty in opening - these thieves were not deterred.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
