Armed & Famous

Let me start by saying I think I am actually starting to like this show. I didn't think it was possible, but it is!

It starts with a bang by sending the troops out on a prostitution sting. Yes, starting the show off with prostitutes is the best way to start a show, in my opinion. What's even better is they ask Latoya and Trish to go undercover as prostitutes. They give the ladies some acid wash jeans (yes, I just said acid wash), yellow teeth and some black eyes. They look like pretty high-priced hookers for Muncie, Ind., to me.

Erik is taking cover in the "takedown" vehicle in case there is a need of an arrest. Both girls get some bites but no guys get out of the car and meet the girls in there fake hotel room. Latoya encounters a man who happens to be pleasuring himself (I didn't want to explain more, no visuals are needed) when he tries to pick her up, so he gets taken to jail, not to mention the embarrassment he will suffer later because he gave the show permission to use his face — SMART!

Moving on. Erik gets called to a scene where a woman stabbed her boyfriend in the leg. Must have been one heck of a fight. Once he gets there and they are taking the guy away, he starts talking major smack about Erik and you can really tell it's getting under Erik's skin. But he really lost his cool when he starting talking about Erik's mother! Nobody talks about Erik's mama, so he really lays into the guys as he is being taken away in a stretcher — curse words and all are coming out of his mouth.

Bad decision on Erik's part because the next day he is on the cover of the local newspaper screaming at the wounded man. The chief calls him into his office for a minor tongue lashing but all is forgiven in a few minutes.

Jack Osbourne and Wee Man, who I forgot were on the show, make an appearance and Wee Man shaves Jack's head. Glad to see that justice is being served with these two. Wee Man takes a visit to two 5-year-old dwarf girls to raise their spirits and let them know that life can be just as normal for them as anyone else.

Meanwhile Jack gets called to what looks like a bloody movie scene, but is really just a fight turned real bad and ugly. This woman has more blood on her than I have ever seen on a real person. Really scary but Jack gets it under control.

Trish gets the worst call of the night in my opinion. She gets called to look for a missing person and looks for him at his house.

Unfortunately she finds him, but he has passed away. She has to break the news to his family and I don't know how she did it but she did. I would have been a mess. She really pulled it together and it was refreshing to see.

That's the short of it for tonight. Like I mentioned, I think I am actually starting to like this show. Until next week.
