"Armed & Famous" is giving celebrities guns for another week. Can you hear the excitement in my voice? Munice, Ind., will never be the same again, and I mean that.
Trish is the first to show us her cops skills when she pulls over a driver going the wrong way on the street. Surprisingly, it's not driving the wrong way that's the big deal once they get to the car — it's how drunk the passenger is. It's totally legal to be wasted if you are over 21 and not driving, so this is just pure humor.
The passenger says a few meaningful lines and proceeds to tell Trish over and over what a "sexy bitch" she was. Hilarious stuff and I think they need to pull more drunk people over every episode.
All the Celebes are starting to feel more comfortable in their role as police officer, and they are gaining more confidence.
Erik gets to help out with busting a sting! Now when I say sting most people think something dramatic like drug sting or prostitution ring, but in Muncie it means BACKHOE sting — backhoe as in the construction equipment.
I am not sure there is much more I can say about that at this time but, if you can believe it, the story got even better. When they go to arrest the guy trying to drive away in the backhoe, he decides to make a run for it so they release the hounds! The guy gets taken down by a dog. I rewound it three times on my TiVo. Classic stuff here.
Latoya calls home to update her mother about how she is fairing at being a police officer. Her mom goes on to tell her how she doesn't think she is tough enough, and how she is worried she has a female partner. You wonder why Latoya has so many insecurities — her mother was cutting her down while she was doing her best to be a good police officer. I really felt bad for Latoya this time. (I can't believe I just said that.)
Jack Osbourne (who is barely on the show for some reason) gets to make a drug bust in the neighborhood. I wonder how many people are surprised or just think they are really high when they answer the door to see Jack Osbourne busting them for drugs! He tells his story about getting sober and being familiar with the place they visited during their stop.
He makes another drug bust and the girl he arrests begs him to help her get into rehab and he handles his answer just like any pro would. Nice job Officer Osbourne!
Another good one was Erik getting to break up a good old fashioned bar fight. You know the ones where the old crotchety guys are bleeding from the skull but won't put their Miller Lite down or leave until their girlfriend will come with them? These are the good fights, BUT that wasn't what happened with this incident like you would think. The guy actually just fell in the bathroom because he was so drunk and hit his head. He was so wasted he thought someone beat him up. I think that's funnier!
To cap off a perfect night for me, Latoya gets to help a mother in labor. What a nice storybook ending. Let's hope for more drunk people, backhoe busts or just ho busts next week.
