Anthony Giancola, former Fla. principal, gets six life sentences in prison plus 30 years for 2012 crime spree, report says

(CBS) LARGO, Fla. - A judge ordered a former middle school principal to six consecutive life sentences plus thirty years after he admitted to killing two people and injuring several others, according to CBS affiliate WTSP.

Anthony Giancola has reportedly pleaded guilty to two counts of murder, four counts of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated battery.

In June 2012, the former principal went on a crime spree while being high on crack. He allegedly stabbed four people at a home for the hearing impaired which killed two of them. He later went to a hotel and attacked a couple with a microwave.

The station reports after going to the hotel Giancola stopped at a home and asked for "women," after people asked him to leave, he hit a 13-year-old on a bicycle with his car.

Authorities reportedly said Giancola had no connection to any of the victims.
