(CBS) Another European princess has tied the knot in what has become royal wedding season.

While the June 18 marriage of Princess Nathalie of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Alexander Johannsmann lacked the star power and media frenzy of Prince William's April 29, 2011, Westminster Abbey wedding or Prince Albert of Monaco's upcoming July 2 ceremony, there were lots of royals and media in attendance.

The bride, who wore a white, long-sleeved, lace-topped gown by Danish designer Henrik Hviid, is the daughter of Denmark's Princess Benedikte and German Prince Richard of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg.

That makes her the niece of Denamrk's Queen Margrethe II and Greece's deposed Queen Anne-Marie, both of whom attended the wedding along with a host of other European royalty.

The 36-year-old bride is an accomplished equestrian and breeder and was on the 2008 Danish Olympic riding team. Her husband works in his family's horse transportation business.

The two were married in a civil ceremony last year, two months before the birth of their son, Konstantin.

Saturday's religious ceremony, interrupted by rain, took place at the evangelic Stadtkirche in Bad Berleburg, Germany. A tented reception followed in the palace garden.
