Anna Nicole's Mom To Meet Baby
Anna Nicole Smith's mother has received permission to see the late model's daughter and planned to visit her soon, her lawyer said Tuesday.
Virgie Arthur was to stop by the house where the 5-month-old baby is living with Smith's companion, Howard K. Stern, later Tuesday before boarding a flight to Florida, said Deborah Rose, her Bahamian attorney.
"She will see the baby, and she will be in Florida," Rose told reporters.

Rose, who went to court Tuesday for a "small technical procedure" in Arthur's custody case, declined to say who authorized Arthur to see her granddaughter, Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, but said the permission did not come from the court.
An appeals court is scheduled to hear arguments Wednesday morning about whether Smith should be buried in the Bahamas or Texas — a dispute that has dragged on for more than two weeks after the pinup's death.
