Aniston & Mayer: No Longer In "Wonderland"
They were one of Hollywood's most high profile couples.
Now Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have reportedly split up again. Early Show national correspondent Hattie Kauffman, reports.
You can hardly be more public as a couple than on Oscar night. But now Mayer and Aniston have called it quits again, People magazine broke the news.
"Apparently they both just decided this relationship has run its course for now, and they're moving on," said JD Heyman, assistant managing editor at People.
Just last month they were together in the Bahamas for Valentine's Day, the same week Aniston turned 40. She talked to Early Show co-anchor Harry Smith about her big birthday.
"It's my time. I feel just really -- I mean, I just feel like, you know, every woman that's ever said -- or man -- that said it just gets better," Aniston said. "I kind of just agree."
Aniston's romantic life has been tabloid fodder since we fell in love with Rachel on "Friends." You could hardly escape reading about her divorce from Brad Pitt. She finally came face to face with her ex and Angelina Jolie at the Oscars. Celeb-watchers say this latest break-up doesn't mean Aniston is broken.
"She's incredibly successful. She's got a lot of good people in her life. And she's happy. And I think, you know, it's sort of silly that we would expect that she would have to have a relationship with a guy to make her happy," Heyman said.
It has been a big box office year for Aniston. She starred in two huge movies, "Marley & Me" and "He's Just Not That Into You."
