(CBS/AP) MELBOURNE, Fla. - Two people charged with killing Deputy Barbara Pill in Brevard County, Fla., have pleaded not guilty to murder.

On Wednesday, a grand jury indicted 19-year-old Andria Kerchner and 22-year-old Brandon Bradley on first-degree murder charges.

CBS affiliate WKMG reports written pleas of not guilty were submitted on their behalf.

Authorities say Kerchner and Bradley were fleeing a motel burglary on March 6 when Pill stopped them. Authorities say Bradley shot the deputy multiple times when she ordered them out of the vehicle.

They were arrested a short time after the shooting and have been held without bond ever since.

Prosecutors say they'll seek the death penalty for Bradley.
