Amy Winehouse's funeral to be held Tuesday, family spokesman says

(CBS/AP) LONDON - A family spokesman says singer Amy Winehouse's funeral will be held on Tuesday for family and close friends.

The spokesman says the time and place of the private funeral will not be made public.

The troubled singer died on Saturday after a long struggle with alcohol and drug abuse. An autopsy conducted on Monday could not determine a cause of death. Police said that further toxicology tests are needed and the results are expected in two to four weeks.

Crowds have gathered outside her north London home since her death to light candles and leave flowers and other tributes.

Winehouse's parents, Mitch and Janis, visited their daughter's home on Monday to view the tributes and speak to the mourners who had gathered there.

"I can't tell you what this means to us - it really is making this a lot easier for us," Mitch Winehouse said. "We're devastated and I'm speechless but thanks for coming."

Winehouse was 27 when she died. She was best known for her soulful "Back to Black" album.

In recent years her personal problems overshadowed her attempts to keep her music career going.
