"America's Got Talent": A night of redemption and second chances
(CBS News) It was all about second chances on Tuesday night's episode of "America's Got Talent."
"The wild card show is all about redemption," judge Howie Mandel told the contestants on the live wild card round.
Pictures: "America's Got Talent" season 7 semifinalistsMandel and fellow judges Howard Stern and Sharon Osbourne each brought back four acts kicked off earlier this season - all vying for a shot at the $1 million prize and a Las Vegas show. They join 20 contestants already chosen to advance to the next round.
Opera singer Andrew De Leon, an early favorite, returned to sing "Unbreak My Heart," one of the night's most memorable performances, which resulted in a standing ovation. The judges called his performance "sensational."
Escape artist Spencer Horseman, also brought back by Mandel, won over the judges, too.
Other competitors included magicians Jarrett and Raja, dance troupe All That, balancing acts Cristin Sandu and Bandbaz Brothers and the 10-year-old mariachi singer, Sebastien "El Charro de Oro."
"America's Got Talent" returns tonight at 9 p.m. ET on NBC with the results round.
