"American Idol": Which of the final four went home?

Thursday night's results episode of "American Idol" did not end the way many viewers likely expected it to.

Right when the show started, host Ryan Seacrest hinted that something out of the ordinary was going to happen. He said: "In just a bit, I will announce some shocking news that will affect the judges and turn the competition upside down."

That announcement came after the final four contestants -- Amber Holcomb, Angie Miller, Candice Glover and Kree Harrison -- sang Alicia Keys' "Girl on Fire," an appearance by Drake and a performance from season 9 winner, Lee DeWyze.

Seacrest divided the girls into two groups: Glover and Holcomb on one side of the stage and Miller and Harrison on the other. He declared that Glover and Holcomb were this week's bottom two.

As they waited to find out who would go home, Seacrest then revealed that no one would be eliminated. He explained that since the judges had not used their "save" yet this season, all four "Idol" hopefuls would be back to sing next week.

The votes cast this week will be added to next week's tally.

Tell us: Were you surprised by this "Idol" twist? Who do you think will win this season?
