American Country Awards 2012: Which was the best performance?
Country music ruled Monday night at the third annual American Country Awards. The two-hour special, which aired live from Las Vegas, featured several star-studded performances and even some collaborations.
The evening's top winner Luke Bryan got the audience members on their feet by kicking off the ceremony with a performance of "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye."
Kip Moore sang a medley that included "Somethin' 'Bout a Truck," and Trace Adkins teamed up with Lynyrd Skynyrd for a country-infused version of "What's Your Name." Adkins' co-host, Kristin Chenoweth, took the stage, too, to sing her Dolly Parton tribute, "What Would Dolly Do"?
New father Jake Owen, coming off a third back-to-back No. 1 hit, performed "The One That Got Away."
Keith Urban sang "Crossroads" alongside seven young musicians who have participated in the Grammy Foundation's Camp music program.
The show closed with Lady Antebellum performing "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)."
