Alex Trebek leaves hospital following heart attack

(CBS News) "Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek is out of a Los Angeles hospital after suffering a mild heart attack on Saturday, reports USA Today.

A rep for Sony Television released a statement explaining, "I am happy to report that Alex has been released from the hospital and is back at his home. On his behalf, thank you again for your good wishes."

Trebek, who has hosted the game show since 1984, is expected to return to work in July for  season 29.

On Saturday, while Trebek was in the hospital, "Jeopardy!" won the best game show honor at the Daytime Emmys.

The 71-year-old TV host also suffered a heart attack in 2007.
