Adrian Navarro Missing: Nev. teen sought after mother and brother found dead

(CBS/AP) HENDERSON, Nev. - The Clark County coroner's office said Sunday that a woman and her 10-year-old son were stabbed to death in their Henderson, Nev. apartment and her teenage son remains missing.

Officers found the bodies on Friday after being asked to visit the apartment when the woman did not show up for work and her two sons did not show up for school.

Police said her son Adrian Navarro, 16, is missing and he's not considered a suspect. His father lives in California.

Investigators said they're following up on leads but no suspect or motive has been identified so far.

Though authorities have not identified the victims, relatives told the Las Vegas Sun and KSNV-TV that they are Elvira Canales and her son Cesar Navarro. Canales, 40, was a chef at The Venetian.

The deaths came as a shock to a community that is not used to violent crime.

An investigation is ongoing and police are asking the public to call 911 if they have information on Adrian's whereabouts.
