(CBS) Adele will break her silence on Feb. 21 at the Brit Awards. The Grammy-nominated singer hasn't performed since having surgery on a polyp on her vocal cords in November.

The show's organizers confirmed on Thursday that she will sing at the event, reports MTV. Adele is nominated for three Brit awards: British Female Solo artist, British Single and Mastercard British Album of the Year.

"F***ing happy, thank you for the nods xx," Adele tweeted on Thursday in response to her Brit award nominations.

There is currently still no word if she will be performing at the Grammy's, which take place earlier than the Brit awards on Feb. 12, where she is up for six honors.

"Looking forward to @theGrammys on Feb 12! #WeAreMusic," she wrote, tweeting a picture of herself on the show's poster.

The 23-year-old had throat surgery to stop a recurring condition that caused her to cancel tour dates and promotional appearance for the rest of 2011. The operation was expected to stop recurrent bleeding from a benign polyp.
