Add Google Calendar Events with a Phone Call
I've long been a fan of Jott, the mobile-messaging service that lets you send e-mail and reminders to others (or yourself) just by speaking into your phone. Now you can use the service to add events to your Google Calendar. All you do is follow the simple 11-step procedure outlined by the creators of jott2gcal, the Web application that makes this possible. When you're done, you can call Jott like you normally do, say "Google Calendar," and then speak the details of the appointment: "Meet James for lunch at Panera Bread at 12:30 p.m. on Friday," for example. Presto: The event gets added to your calendar. Sweet. [via Lifehacker]
