Abigail Breslin: Still Bringing "Sunshine"
She may be only thirteen, but Abigail Breslin is already a seven year film veteran. She's also an Academy Award nominee for her unforgettable performance in "Little Miss Sunshine."
This Friday, Breslin is back in theaters co-starring in "My Sister's Keeper" as a little girl with a big decision.
Based on the bestselling book from Jodi Picoult, "My Sister's Keeper" reveals surprising truths that challenge one's perceptions of family love and loyalty and give new meaning to the definition of healing.
Although the movie is a tear-jerker, there are moments of happiness as well.
"It is sad, of course. It's really hard to watch," Breslin told Early Show co-anchor Harry Smith and "Insider" host and substitute co-anchor Lara Spencer. "It's about a family, and even though they're suffering, they still love each other, and they still care about each other."
Breslin went on to discuss what it was like working with Alec Baldwin, Cameron Diaz and Sofia Vassilieva. She also admitted that she is a shop-a-holic and has been cut off from buying clothes, but still accepted a shirt from her Grandma!
