Abdul's Love Life Looking "Upwards"
When Paula Abdul walked the red carpet at the premiere of "Hairspray" earlier this week, she not only donned a smile on her face but a handsome accessory was on her arm.
On the "Today" show Wednesday, Abdul confirmed that restaurateur TJ Torregiani, who attended a New York premiere with her on Monday night, is indeed someone special.
As for her love life, which she once described as "a horror movie," Abdul told Lauer, "It's looking upwards. Things are good right now. There is someone in particular."
"He's a good guy," Abdul said.
News that she's dating is a welcome change from other headlines that have plagued Abdul. When asked if she was drunk during that infamous satellite interview in which she slurred her words, Abdul said, "I've never been drunk in my life, Matt."
