3 arrests after elderly Ark. couple found slain in burning home
MIDWAY, Ark. -- Police say two men and a woman killed an elderly northern Arkansas couple, stole from their home and burned it with the deceased victims inside.
Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery said Monday that Zach Tyler Grayham, Mikayla Jordan Mynk and Nicholas Ian Roosare have been jailed without bond on capital murder, arson and other charges in the deaths of 75-year-old Donald Rice and 71-year-old Ladonna Rice.
Donald Rice's body has been positively identified after being found in the burned Midway home, Montgomery said, and a second body found is believed to be Ladonna Rice.
Montgomery says the suspects are believed to have killed the Rices on Nov. 7, stole several items and set the house on fire before leaving in the couple's pickup truck. The truck was found burned the following day.
Police haven't said how the victims were killed.
