16-year-old Jack McBean Signs With Galaxy

CARSON, Calif. (AP) - The Los Angeles Galaxy have signed 16-year-old forward Jack McBean.

McBean, a homegrown player added from the Galaxy academy, will remain at the U.S. Soccer Federation's under-17 residency program at Bradenton, Fla., through qualifying for this summer's FIFA under-17 World Cup, the Galaxy said Monday.

He played for Corona de Mar High School.
