13-Year-Old Ariz. Girl Missing: Ashley Kingsbury left home to meet male Facebook friend, say cops

(CBS/KPHO)PHOENIX - Ashley Kingsbury, a 13-year-old girl from Arizona, has been missing since she left home to meet up with a man she met on Facebook, police say.

Ashley ran off from her home in Vail, Ariz. with a 19-year-old Utah man, investigators told CBS affiliate KPHO.

The 13-year-old has been missing since Monday, the station reported. The girl is 5 feet, 2 inches tall, 95 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

According to investigators the man she is believed to be with could be a man named Jordan Anthony, who is 6-foot 1 and 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, reports the station.

Kingsbury's father Albert told KPHO, "This is any dad's nightmare."

Albert found his daughter's cell phone that she left behind, and on it he read a text message from the man's mother that said "Don't do anything stupid," according to the station's report.

Investigators believe that the two of them could be in the local area or possibly on their way to Salt Lake City in a 2000 silver Hyundai Elantra with Utah license plates Z754UV, KPHO reported.
