Best Craft Beer Bars In The Twin Cities

A newly opened bar in uptown, a pub in St. Paul, a cozy pub on Selby and Dale, an oyster and whiskey bar in Minneapolis and a pub on 50th and France...what do they all have in common? They all have a tremendous craft beer list. Not only do these places serve delicious brews, they also have hefty selections of locally brewed ales, ciders, beers and more. Wherever you are in the Twin Cities, you're sure to be somewhere close to one of these spots and a big frosty mug. With selections and lists as long as these, there's sure to be something that can whet your whistle this season.

Having just opened in late summer, Prime Bar features a beer list that is yours for the taking. Its daily happy hour includes at least two beers with one of them being a craft brew. Prime touches on nearly all types of beer including pale ales, amber ales, belgian-style ales, lagers, fruit cider ales and seasonal brews. Its list is graced by brewers like Great Lakes Brewing, Rush River, Summit, Two Brothers Brewing Company, Breckenridge and Founders. Stout's Pub is a place that's great to meet a friend for happy hour, stop in to have a burger or to gather and watch the Vikings pull out a win. No matter what you're there for, a beer will be in order and this spot has no shortage of craft beers for you to pick from. Some might say that its specialty is offering Minnesota-crafted beers since its list includes Summit, Brau Brothers, Fulton, Schell's, Lift Bridge, Flat Earth and Surly.
