Twins babies with rare heart defects fight the odds
Identical twins Asher and Xander Reyes were born with a rare heart defect called congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries (CCTGA). What makes this even rarer is that both twins have the condition but different versions of it. Dr. Katelyn Snyder, pediatric cardiologist at Pediatrix Cardiology of South Florida, diagnosed the condition and continues to provide ongoing care for the twins.
