Second sloth transferred to Central Florida Zoo dies, criminal investigation opened
A second sloth taken in for rehabilitation at a central Florida zoo has died, as the former tourist attraction Sloth World—never opened in Orlando—faces scrutiny over the deaths of more than 30 sloths. Many of the animals, including Habanero, arrived underweight and suffering from health problems.
