Prosecution rests its case against Scot Peterson in Parkland high school shooting
The veteran detective who led the investigation into the 2018 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School massacre wept on the witness stand, saying Scot Peterson could have prevented the deaths of some of the 17 people murdered if he had charged into the building instead of taking cover.
