Miami-Dade revives school bus safety camera program with major upgrades
Drivers in Miami-Dade County will now receive $225 citations if they fail to stop for a school bus with its stop arm extended, as the county relaunches its bus camera enforcement program. After a year-long suspension, the system returns with more cameras, enhanced oversight, and improved evidence collection—tickets will be sent to vehicle owners.
