Homeless advocates think Miami Beach's new ordinance goes to far
By next weekend, Miami Beach will be able to arrest unhoused people sleeping on the streets if they decline being placed in a shelter. Ron Book with the Miami-Dade Homeless Trust said it's not a good idea to arrest people just because they are unsheltered.
