Fort Lauderdale K-9 recovering after shooting; suspect skips bond court appearance
A Fort Lauderdale police K-9 is recovering from surgery after being shot during a weekend burglary response. While the suspect accused in the case did not appear in bond court, woman identifying herself as his mother spoke on his behalf.
