Beloved Miami Beach seashell menorah retired after 20 years due to deterioration
For more than two decades, a handcrafted seashell menorah has been a beloved part of Miami Beach’s Hanukkah celebration on Lincoln Road. This year, the display was replaced after the original structure deteriorated. Its longtime creator, who spent months hand‑selecting shells to build both the menorah and a dreidel, saw the damage for the first time and said he was shocked to learn it could no longer be used.
