Under the plan, borrowers earning less than $125,000 a year will be eligible for up to $10,000 in loan forgiveness, with an additional $10,000 for Pell Grant recipients.

Crist defeated Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried, who called to congratulate him shortly after CBS News called his win.
“Change doesn’t happen overnight. So we get up tomorrow and continue the fight that we have started,” she said.
Crist will face incumbent GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis in November.
The 27th Congressional District figures to be a close race between the Democratic challenger and Republican incumbent Maria Elvira Salazar.
Democrats will be choosing who will challenge Republican rising star Gov. Ron DeSantis, as well as Sen. Marco Rubio. Because of its increase in population, the state is also adding congressional district.
Whoever wins the Democratic ticket will face off against Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis.
