SEE IT: Video Captures Chase, Shooting Near Casino Miami Jai-Alai Injuring 2

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami-Dade police are searching for a dark sedan involved in a late afternoon shooting spree Thursday that sent two people to the hospital.

Surveillance captured the terrifying moments as you see a man hanging out the window of the sedan firing a gun at a white car in front of him, along NW 36th Street at around 6 p.m.

Along the way, bullets hit another car at the intersection of Nw 36th Street and 35th Avenue. An innocent bystander, the driver of the vehicle was shot.

It happened just outside the Pro Max car lot.

Marcos Lazzeri heard the gunfire and rushed to help the driver who was bleeding on the sidewalk.

"I was asking his name, trying to keep him awake. We pressed to stem the bleeding until the cops arrived," he said.

But the chaos didn't end there. The shooter in the dark sedan kept chasing the car he was after all the way to the valet area of Casino Miami.

People in the casino heard the gunfire and fled the building.

The driver the shooter was chasing crashed at the casino.

He was shot and his passenger grazed while the shooter and driver in the dark sedan sped away.

The two people taken to the hospital are expected to survive.

Anyone with information on the shooting, including helping identify the gunman, should call  Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477) or 866-471-8477. You can also visit www.crimestoppersmiami.com and select "Give a Tip."
