MIRAMAR (CBSMiami) - Police are looking at surveillance video from nearby businesses to figure out who smashed into the front a barber shop.
Daniel Anderson, the owner of SND Signature Cuts and Salon, said they closed up shop around 8:30 p.m. Monday. He said he got a call from the police overnight about a break-in at the store on Miramar Parkway and he needed to go there.
He said when he arrived, he found glass and debris everywhere.
"I don't know what to say because they didn't steal anything everything is there but this is a mess right now," said owner Daniel Anderson.
It was a big mess. The door frame collapsed, debris was everywhere and chairs were thrown, even the vending machine was dented but no televisions, no clippers, no products were missing, according to Anderson.
"I don't know what to think, that's the thing because everybody gets along," he said.
Miramar Police told CBS4 that one of their officers came across the damage. The only thing they're sure of is that it probably was a vehicle that did it. Since nothing was stolen it's being treated as a case of criminal mischief.
Anderson suspects someone lost control of their vehicle, plowed into his storefront, and then drove off in a panic.
