Two Accused Of Practicing Medicine Without A License

AVENTURA (CBSMiami) -- Police arrested  two people accused of practicing medicine without a license at an Aventura Spa.

Authorities said Alberto J. Lobo and Ruth M. Cula are each facing a charge of practice of unlicensed medicine that is punishable by up to one year in jail.

Cula is also facing a charge of unlicensed practice of massage therapy.

The two were arrested after authorities said they received an anonymous complaint saying that the spa located at 18790 West Dixie Highway was performing permanent makeup and Botox services without a license.

The complaint also alleged they were conducting massage therapy without a license.
