Top Fireworks In South Florida

Independence Day celebrations abound in South Florida. Whether looking for a beachside fireworks display or a local park, there is something for everyone in the Miami area. The fireworks shows are free but the events preceding up to the fireworks may have fees to participate. Celebrations start as early as 2:00 p.m. and most of the actual fireworks displays will take place at 9:00 p.m.

Bayfront Park is once again the sight of America's Birthday Bash in downtown Miami. There will be a free kid's zone, food, beverages, and music. America's Birthday Bash at Bayfront Park is billed as 'the largest free firework display' in the South Florida area. Although this event is taking place in a public park, the sponsors request that visitors refrain from bringing any cans, bottles, or coolers to the park, and personal fireworks are strictly forbidden at the park. While at the park, take a gander at the Samuel Adams Beer Garden for a refreshing drink before or after the fireworks display.

Although the fireworks don't start until 9:00 p.m., the fun starts much earlier in the day. Spend the entire afternoon listening to the sounds of Making Faces, Uproot Hootenanny, County Line Road, and Bluefire Band, as well as other fabulous bands. While enjoying the music, attendees can visit the arts and craft vendors and partake of delicious food from one of the food vendors. There will also be a kid's zone for the little ones to enjoy. Arrive early for the best parking and stay late for the fireworks.

Coral Springs' Independence Day Celebration begins with games, food, and entertainment, and ends with a spectacular fireworks display. There is no entrance fee for this event but there is a charge for the games, the bounce house, and the food. The parking fee is $3.00. The trick with enjoying this fun event is to arrive early so you have time ample time to enjoy all the activities available at this fourth of July celebration.

Pine Island Park in beautiful Davie, Florida, is the site for this year's Independence Day Fireworks and Family Fun Day. Food and snacks will be available for a small fee throughout the evening's events. Local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will be selling popcorn, cotton candy, and snow cones. There will be arts and craft vendors, bounce houses, face painting, and youth entertainment. Activities around the park include a Family Fun Run, volleyball, Pickle Ball, and swimming. This venue has an alternate plan in case of inclement weather. The fireworks show will begin promptly at 9:00 p.m.
