MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – When Donald Trump appeared at a South Florida Tea Party even in April, the group had to secure barricades and police security for the event. The only problem is, the Tea Party still hasn't paid for those services.
According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the South Florida Tea Party still owes more than $6,000 to Boca Raton for the barricades and police security.
The Sun-Sentinel reported the city has already sent the Tea Party invoices for the unpaid services and the Tea Party said they're trying to pay them.
The city of Boca Raton will absorb the costs from the rally if the Tea Party doesn't pay the bills. But the city said it would remember the costs if the Tea Party want to hold another rally there, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
