Super Bowl Forecast: Rain Moves Out, Super Weather On Tap For Super Bowl Sunday

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- No more rain for South Florida as a cold front moves through the area and cooler drier air moves in.

Downpours once again moved through the area Saturday afternoon and evening but just after 6:00 p.m. the rain finally moved off the coast.

The breeze will continue to gust overnight and Sunday bringing cooler air all the way down the Florida Peninsula and here into South Florida.

By Sunday morning temperatures will be in the middle fifties with the breeze making if feel a little cooler. There will be plenty of sunshine and no rain but with the breeze temperatures will push just above seventy Sunday afternoon and be dropping by kickoff.

Sunday evening the skies will remain clear and the wind diminishes making for a pleasant evening.

By the end of the game it may feel a little cool with temperatures already dropping into the fifties.

By Monday morning inland areas will be around fifty degrees while the coast is in the middle fifties. That will be as cool as we get as warmer weather returns next week.
