Sparano Slashes Price Of Former Davie Home

DAVIE (CBSMiami) – Hoping to sweeten the pot and unload a pricey home he no longer needs, former Miami Dolphins coach Tony Sparano has slashed the price on his former Davie digs.

Fired last December, Sparano had been looking to sell his five bedroom home in the Stonebrook Estates most recently for $1.499 million. He's now cut that price to $1.389 million, according to The Sun-Sentinel.

Sparano bought the home in 2008 for $1.7 million. He first listed the 5,182 square foot residence for sale in January 2011. Three months later he took it off the market.  It was then re-listed in October. Sparano said at the time he was trying to sell it because his daughter had gone off to college and the home was just too big for he and his wife.

Sparano is now the offensive coordinator for the New York Jets.
