WINTER SPRINGS (CBSMiami/AP) — A half dozen Winter Springs High School students have been charged in the rape a 16-year-old girl.

The teens were arrested at the school on Wednesday. They are charged with sexual battery and false imprisonment charges after the girl's mother notified police last Thursday.

Winter Springs police Chief Kevin Brunelle told Orlando television stations the girl recorded part of the attack on her iPod.

The girl left campus with at least one of the teens to walk to a McDonalds. She told police three of the boys raped her in the woods and the other three pulled her back into the woods as she walked.

Seminole County Jail records didn't indicate whether one of the students, 18-year-old Torreano Batton, had an attorney. The other teens are 16 and 17. They were taken to a juvenile facility.
