Doral (CBSMiami) – The doctor cited on Florida state records as having signed off on a psychological evaluation taken by the Orlando shooter has come forward claiming she had nothing to do with it.

Several news agencies, including CBS4, reported what was in the state documents. However, since then, CBS4 learned that Dr. Carol Nudelman was erroneously listed on state records as the psychologist who approved Omar Mateen's evaluation when he worked for the Wackenhut Security Company in 2007.

Wackenhut, which is now operating under the name G4S, confirms that it made an administrative error on state records by listing her name.

G4S confirmed to CBS4 News that that Dr. Nudelman sold her practice in 2006 to Dr. Joanne Bauling at Headquarters for Psychological Evaluation (HQPE).

According to G4S, Mateen's psychological assessment was scored and evaluated on September 6, 2007 by HQPE and Dr. Bauling.

In a statement provided to CBS4, Dr. Nudelman notes that she had stopped performing work for Wackenhut more than a year-and-a-half before Mateen's screening and she had nothing to do with his examination.
