Search On For Man Who Fell Off Boat In Biscayne Bay

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The U.S. Coast Guard says they are searching for a man who fell off a boat into the waters near the Julia Tuttle Causeway.

The Coast Guard has identified the man as 22-year-old Tyron Robertson.
It was first reported Robertson had fallen off a personal watercraft.

The Coast Guard spoke to the man's girlfriend.
She reportedly told them he was riding on the back of the craft, and at some point she looked back and he was gone.
The Coast Guard said she has no idea where he fell off.
Several people on social media captured the massive search for the missing boater.

The public is encouraged to remain vigilant while in the area.
