Rubio Campaign Calls On Trump To Repudiate Unaffiliated Robocall Group

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A spokesman for Marco Rubio's presidential campaign is fuming over a robocall from an unaffiliated pro-Donald Trump group that's making its rounds Wednesday night in Vermont and Minnesota.

"Donald Trump is not a racist, but Donald Trump is not afraid. Don't vote for a Cuban. Vote for Donald Trump," part of the call states.

The "American National Super PAC" – a white supremacist group – is making the calls on behalf of the frontrunner, though the group has no connection to the Trump campaign.

Alex Burgos, spokesman for the Rubio campaign, is outraged and demands "The Donald" disavow the group.

"This is an outrageous robo-call that Donald Trump should immediately repudiate and demand that this group cease its operations. This is the lowest form of campaigning, and is the exact same type of dirty tricks Donald Trump has been decrying for weeks now."
