Police Hunt For 2 Robbers, 1 Arrested After Home Invasion

MIRAMAR (CBS4)- Police are looking for two men who committed a home invasion in Miramar Saturday.

According to Miramar Police, the incident happened early Saturday morning on the 3300 block of Java Plum Avenue.

Investigators said three men broke into a home while the residents were home. One of the victims was able to escape and call police.

Officers arrived on the scene and caught one of the men, but the other two drove off and tried to run over an officer, according to police. That officer shot at the car, but missed the alleged robbers.

Neighbor Timothy Williams, who heard the entire incident, said he wants out of the neighborhood.

"I feel like relocating because it normally doesn't happen like that in Miramar," he said.

The getaway car was later found abandoned in Miami Gardens, according to police. But police are still looking for the two men.
