LAUDERHILL (CBSMiami) – Amateur video shows the chaotic scene as a fight between two teens broke out ending in a 16 year old being stabbed.

The girl accused of stabbing the other student faced a judge Thursday afternoon.

The whole incident was captured on cell phone video and happened after school in Lauderhill Wednesday.

"She stabbed him. She stabbed him," someone is heard saying in the video.

The 16 year old who was stabbed is a student at Piper High School.

"She came up to my son. Then she hit him in the lower. Then she hit him up here," said the stabbing victim's mother who asked us to keep her identity private.

She said trouble was brewing for days at Piper High School but said her son was an innocent victim.

"My son is an active kid. Everybody loves him. You can go on Facebook. Everybody loves my son. He don't go around nitpicking If he is your friend, he is loyal to you," said his mother.

The accused stabber, who also attends Piper High School, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

"She was not involved in the original altercation and  she pulled out a kitchen knife and she essentially assaulted the victim," said the prosecutor.

The girl's father said she's never been in trouble before.

The judge ordered her to stay in juvenile detention until Sunday and afterwards remain on house arrest for another two weeks.

"I don't want to hear about any Facebook messages or My Space or any social media....Do you understand?" said the judge.

"Yes sir," replied the accused stabber.

"This is clearly an isolated incident. This young girl has never been in trouble before. She goes to school. She has a supportive family. We're looking to defend her and look at all the evidence and put it into proper context. Hopefully when it's in the proper context, justice will prevail," said public defender Gordon Weekes.

The girl will go home Sunday with a GPS monitoring device.

Meanwhile, the victim's mom says he is in serious condition but is expected to make a full recovery.
