Pedestrian Expected To Survive After Getting Struck In Street

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- A pedestrian is expected to survive his injuries after being hit by a car, according to Ft. Lauderdale Police.
It happened early Friday morning along the eastbound lanes of West Broward Blvd. at S.W. 9th Avenue.
The accident shut down the road temporarily and traffic was detoured.
The victim was taken to Broward Health Hospital with severe injuries.
